A mixed bag in our contest versus The Island. A half and a loss at home, and a half and a loss away. We lost on the 18th away, and by 2/1 at home.

So all in all a very tight match that could easily have gone either way, but not for us this time. Thanks to everyone for making themselves available and for playing.

At this stage it is clear we can’t top our group - we haven’t seen the latest tables yet but we know that after 3 matches The Links have 19pts , The Island have 13, we have 11, and Baltray have 2 pts. Portmarnock have only played 2 matches and have 11 pts.

However, we can still go out on a high with a victory in our last match which is against Portmarnock on Mon 23rd May.
