On a magnificent sunny day where the Beach was hopping with bathers /Brazilians blaring out their music as we played along the last few holes. It was distracting to say the least for both teams!

This Match went down to the wire where our last match on the course away in Headfort was coming to a climax. Stephen Moriarty and Conor Litchfied were level with 2 to play. Won 17 and Secured the Win for Sutton on 18 . So Hard to win away so congrats to Stephen and Conor . The overall Match was a very hard fought Win for Sutton against a very determined Headfort team .

Led by Kieran O Byrne and Niall Kennedy (Captains Prize Winner 2022.) were pipped on the18th .

Simon Russell and Gareth Noone Played steady to come out Winners 3/2

Alan Darbey and Danny Buckley who had a fierce battle on their hands throughout had an unbelievable Win on the 15th to go 1 up which turned the match in our favour and went on to secure the win for Sutton on 17 for 2/1 .

Away

Sam Kelly and John Houston were beaten 2/1 where local knowledge on the greens was the main difference.

Stephen Moriarty and Conor Litchfield won on 18th. Even though Conor had to call on the Medical Team during his round with back trouble . But he soldiered on for the cause and Sutton GC.
